Honolulu, Hawaii – Ryan Humphrey scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds to lead three Irish players in double figures as Notre Dame defeated host Hawaii Pacific in the first round of the Hawaii Pacific Thanksgiving Classic. With the win, the Irish improve to 3-0 on the season and will meet UT Chattanooga, a winner in its opening round game over Liberty, in second round action.
David Graves had 17 points and six rebounds, while Matt Carroll added 15 points and five rebounds, Freshman point guard Chris Thomas finished with a career-best 13 assists and no turnovers as the Irish had a 28 assists as a team and just nine turnovers.
Notre Dame owned a 49-37 rebounding edge in the contest, while shooting 55.1 percent from the field.
The Irish led 46-30 at halftime and outscored the Sea Warriors 52-28 in the second half.
