Notre Dame Puts Six on All-ACC Academic Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Notre Dame men’s tennis put six individuals on the 2025 All-ACC Academic team, the conference announced Monday. The six are just one off last year’s total and a tie from the 2023 team.

2025 ACC Player of the Year Sebastian Dominko earned his third straight conference academic honor, adding another accolade to one of the most impressive seasons in program history. Named an ITA All-American back in May, Dominko was 19-4 in singles this spring, with 10 of those wins coming against ranked opponents. He is just the third three-time All-American in Notre Dame history and the first ACC Player of the Year ever for the Irish. Dominko is a finance major.

Senior Jameson Corsillo, who graduated with a degree in finance in May, earned his second All-ACC Academic honor. Corsillo was 8-7 in singles this spring and posted six wins on the doubles courts.

Both Kyran Magimay and Chase Thompson earned their second conference academic honors as well. Magimay, a sophomore in Finance, went 14-13 in singles in 2025 with five wins over ACC opponents. Thompson, who earned All-Conference honors as well in doubles, tallied an 11-9 singles record and a 14-6 doubles record, half of those doubles wins coming over conference foes. Thompson is a Political Science major.

The freshman duo of Luis Llorens Saracho and Peter Nad both made their debuts on the academic list. The tandem posted a perfect 13-0 doubles record in the spring, including a perfect 10-0 record in conference play. Saracho is a Finance major while Nad is undeclared.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative grade point average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.
