Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame rowing team finished 16th in the final USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Division I Coaches Poll. The Irish varsity eight crew received at-large berth in the NCAA Championships, which will be held May 28-30 at the CSUS Aquatic Center in Sacramento, Calif.
California end the season as the top-ranked team, garnering 11 first-place votes. Princeton was second, folllowed by Ohio State, Harvard, Virginia, Washington, Yale, Michigan, Brown and Tennessee.
Wisconsin finished 11th, followed by Southern California, Texas, Michigan Staet, Stanford, NOTRE DAME, Washington State, Boston University, Massachusetts and Northeastern.
