NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame baseball team looks to continue its winning ways against Pittsburgh in its final home series of the season. Friday starter Scott Tully will make his final home start of his five-year career at 6:05 p.m. ET at Frank Eck Stadium.
The Irish (21-24, 10-14) play host to the Panthers (25-17, 10-11) during senior weekend, as the Class of 2018 will be honored prior to Saturday’s game at the Eck.
“It will be sad playing our last home games, but it is a great opportunity for us to go out and compete against a good Pittsburgh team,” senior Alex Kerschner said.

Notre Dame owns a 43-21 lead in the all-time series against the Panthers. The Irish have lost just twice (22-2) at Frank Eck Stadium, with both of those losses coming in the most recent home series (May 6-8, 2016).
The Irish have gone 11-3 in the last 14 contests versus Pittsburgh.

- The Irish own an 11-8 record at home in 2018.
- Jake Johnson owns an 18-game on-base streak during which he is batting .344 (22-64) with 14 walks, 11 runs scored and seven RBI.
- Alex Kerschner has hit safely in six of his last eight games, going 9-26 (.346) over that span.
