Announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), Jadin O’Brien was named the 2024 NCAA DI Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year.
The All-American pentathlon athlete is a back-to-back NCAA Pentathlon National Champion, a three-time ACC Pentathlon Champion, a two-time USTFCCCA Great Lakes Women’s Field Athlete of the Year, a two-time ACC Women’s Indoor Field Performer of the Year, and a two-time ACC Indoor Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Graduating in the spring with her bachelor’s degree, O’Brien will return for a fifth year as she pursues her master’s in nonprofit administration at Notre Dame.
