Junior Palmer Jackson shot an 11-under 205 to finish in a tie for fourth place at the Marquette Invitational, held at Erin Hills Golf Course in Hartford, Wisconsin, from September 5 through 7, 2021, to highlight the University of Notre Dame men’s golf seventh-place effort in the competition. The three-day event is the first of the 2021 fall season for the Fighting Irish.
The fourth-place finish marks the fifth top-25 finish and second top-five finish of Jackson’s career at Notre Dame. Senior Taichi Kho shot a three-under 213 during the tournament to finish in a tie for 22nd while senior Andrew O’Leary ended up one under par at 215 to finish in a tie for 34th.
The Irish will be back in action this weekend at the Gopher Invitational in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with the first two rounds on Sunday, September 12 with the third and final round on Monday, September 13.
