- The 60-48 win improved Notre Dame to 23-5 overall and 12-4 in BIG EAST play. The 23 wins are the most for the Irish since the 2009-10 campaign (23-12). The 23 victories are tied for the fourth-most during the Mike Brey era at Notre Dame (11 seasons). The 12 BIG EAST wins are the second-most in program history behind the 14 wins (14-4) during the 2007-08 season.
- Notre Dame is 44-26 (.629) in regular-season BIG EAST contests over the past four seasons. The 44 victories are the most regular-season BIG EAST wins over a four-year span in program history. The previous high was 43 (43-27) from 2006-10.
- Notre Dame’s 23-5 record signifies the best 28-game start under head coach Mike Brey.
- Notre Dame is 16-0 at home this season. The Irish have won 18 straight games at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
- With his 22 points, Tim Abromaitis now has 1,000 career points. He becomes the 51st player in Notre Dame history to score 1,000 points.
- Tim Abromaitis (22 points) scored 20-plus points for the second straight game. He has reached the 20-point plateau 10 times this season. Abromaitis has scored in double-figures in six of the past seven games and 23 times overall this season. Tonight was the seventh time this season Abromaitis has led the Fighting Irish in scoring.
- Ben Hansbrough (21 points) has a career-high 11-game double-figure scoring streak. That’s the longest double-digit scoring streak for the Irish this season. Hansbrough has scored in double-digits a team-high 26 times this season (out of 28 games). Tonight was his team-best 12th 20-plus point game of the season.
- Tim Abromaitis and Ben Hansbrough both scored 20 or more points in the same game for the second straight contest and for the fourth time this season. The other times were against Chicago State (Nov. 17), Louisville (Feb. 9) and Providence (Feb. 23).
- Seton Hall’s 48 points were the fewest scored by an Irish opponent in a BIG EAST game this season. It’s the second time this season the Irish have held an opponent to under 50 points. Notre Dame held California to 44 points on Nov. 26. Prior to tonight, the last time the Irish held a BIG EAST foe under 50 points was in a 50-45 win over Pittsburgh during the quarterfinals of last season’s BIG EAST Tournament. The last time Notre Dame held a BIG EAST opponent under 50 during a regular-season game was a 61-48 victory over Georgetown during the 2003-04 campaign.
- Notre Dame held a 41-32 advantage in rebounds. The Irish are 19-1 this season when they out-rebound their opponent.
- Notre Dame was 14-22 from the free throw line, while Seton Hall was 9-10. The Irish are 20-0 this season when making more free throws than their opponent.
- Carleton Scott hauled down a game-high 10 rebounds. That marked the second straight game – and ninth time this season – he’s had 10 or more rebounds in a game.
- Carleton Scott blocked two shots. That was the 16th time this season – and seventh straight contest – he has blocked at least two shots in a game.
- Notre Dame is 21-3 this season when Carleton Scott has played. He missed four games earlier in the season with a hamstring injury.

- Senior forward Tyrone Nash extended his consecutive games played streak to a team-best 78 contests. Nash, Tim Abromaitis (Sr./F) and Ben Hansbrough (Sr./G) all have played in the past 63 games. Nash and Hansbrough both have started all 63 of those contests.
- Tonight was the 25th meeting all-time between Notre Dame and Seton Hall. The Irish lead the series 17-8, including a 10-1 advantage at home. Notre Dame has won eight of the past nine showdowns against Seton Hall.
