NOTRE DAME, Ind. — For the second time this season, University of Notre Dame graduate student Anna Rohrer has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Performer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
Rohrer shares the week’s honor with Florida State’s Elizabeth Funderburk.
A three-time cross country All-American, Rohrer led the Irish at last Friday’s Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational, placing 10th in 20:10.3 on the 6K course. Her performance — along with sophomore Maddy Denner, who finished 11th — paced all ACC finishers at what is the nation’s premier regular-season meet.
Rohrer previously garnered ACC Performer of the Week honors after placing sixth in the 5K (16:24.71) at the Notre Dame Joe Piane Invitational on October 4.
The Irish will next take the course at the ACC Championships, set to take place at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course at Virginia Tech.
