FRESHMAN SEASON (2012-13): Played in 34 games and compiled 210 points (6.2 ppg.) and 47 rebounds (1.4 rpg.) … led the Fighting Irish in scoring three times … 33 assists, nine blocked shots and six steals … shot 69-194 (.356) from the field, including 36-119 (.303) from three-point range … shot a team-best 81.8% (36-44) from the free throw line … had six double-figure scoring efforts … averaged 5.3 points per game in BIG EAST play … scored seven points in his Irish debut, a 58-49 win over Evansville in the season opener … tallied nine points, three rebounds and a season-high five assists in an 84-57 besting of Monmouth … was 4-6 from three-point range en route to 13 points in a 69-52 win over Saint Francis (Pa.) … connected on three treys (on five attempts) to finish with nine points in a 92-65 victory over Chicago State … totaled 10 points and three boards in the 64-50 besting of Kentucky … was 4-6 from the floor, including 2-3 from long-range, against the Wildcats … was 7-10 from field, including 2-4 from distance, and finished with 17 points in an 84-57 triumph of Brown … hit all four of his three-point attempts and concluded the game with 15 points in an 89-67 victory over Niagara … registered a season-high 18 points in the 65-60 win over Villanova … made a season-best five three-pointers (on seven attempts) in the Villanova contest and that performance helped him earn the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week Award … played 50 minutes and poured in 14 points in the 104-101 five-overtime victory over eventual national champion Louisville.
