AS A JUNIOR:

• Recorded a season best height of 4.45m in the pole vault at the ND Invite.

AS A SOPHOMORE: 

• Placed eighth in the pole vault at the Notre Dame Invitational (4.40m).
• Finished third in the pole vault at the Alex Wilson Invitational (4.57m).
• Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN: 

• Participated in the Notre Dame Invitational during the indoor season, but did not record a height in the pole vault.

PREP AND PERSONAL: 

• Graduated in the spring of 2014 from Servite High School (Fullerton, California).
• Achieved a personal best in the pole vault during his senior year (15’3).
• Born in La Habra, California, to Donald and Megan Shank.
• His father graduated from Notre Dame in 1983.
• Full name is Jesse Lee Shank.
• Has a younger brother and two younger sisters.
• Majoring in international economics-romance languages.
