AS A JUNIOR: Former multi-event specialist shifted her focus exclusively to the middle distances … ran 1:16.24 over 500 meters at the Blue and Gold Invitational, qualifying for the BIG EAST indoor meet … ran the 800 meters at the Meyo Invitational in 2:21.54 … was unable to reach the 500-meter final at the indoor BIG EAST meet, but earned valuable experience just by competing among the league[apos]s best … had a strong outdoor season, highlighted by a 2:16.61 800 meters at the Central Collegiate Championship … will look to continue her progress in the half mile in 2008.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Once again, competed in multiple events for the Irish indoors … established personal-best marks of 2:24.51 in the 800 meters, 5.18 in the long jump, 10.73m in the shot put and 10.22 in the 60-meter hurdles on the way to a career-high mark of 3,145 points in the pentathlon at the Notre Dame Invitational … did not compete during the outdoor track season.
AS A FRESHMAN: Versatile performer who competed in five different events for Irish during indoor track season … opened campaign at Blue & Gold Invitational with third-place finish in long jump (4.96m, 16-3 ¼) and seventh-place outing in shot put (10.27m, 33-8 ½) … registered personal bests in 800 meters (2:30.25, fifth place) and long jump (5.08m, 16-8, ninth place) at Central Michigan Opener … set a new career best in the shot put with her 10.29m (33-9 ¼) heave at the Notre Dame Opener … posted her best 500-meter time of the year at the Meyo Invitational (1:19.06) … put versatility to the test when she competed in pentathlon at BIG EAST Indoor Championship, coming in 11th place with 2,913 points … made outdoor debut at Mike Poehlein Invitational in the 800 meters (ninth in 2:24.70) and long jump (4.79m, 15-8 ½) … sliced more than four seconds off 800-meter time at the Indy Relays (2:20.19) to close out her rookie season.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. … daughter of John and Cindy Jannazo … enrolled in College of Engineering as an electrical engineering major.
