Saw action against IPFW, Winston-Salem, Elon, Portland, Army, Rider, Stony Brook during the non-conference season … also logged BIG EAST minutes against USF, DePaul, Marquette and Rutgers … connected on his first career field goal against Stony Brook.
JUNIOR SEASON (2005-06):
First-year walk-on to Irish program who joined team in early November … played in three games … saw action in first collegiate game against Florida International … sank two free throws against against Fordham for his first points in an Irish uniform. … made appearance in first BIG EAST game in win over Providence.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Earned two letters at Union-Endicott and played for head coach Mark Wood … captained basketball team in final season … averaged 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists during senior year … named MVP of team and earned all-division honors … selected to play in Southern Tier Athletic Conference Senior All-Star Showcase and Stars and Stripes All-Star Classic … best performance of senior season came against Corning East when he scored 29 points.

Full name is Kieran Sean Piller … youngest of four children … his father Sean is a 1972 Notre Dame graduate while sister Brooke was graduated from the University in 2003 … son of Sean and Roberta Piller … born 10-31-84 in Johnson City, NY … graduate from the College of Arts and Letters in May of 2007 with a double major in economics and American Studies.
