Played in a career-high 30 games, including three starts … notched 86 points (2.9 ppg.), 46 rebounds (1.5 rpg.), 14 assists, 15 blocked shots and seven steals … totaled 266 minutes (8.9 mpg.) on the court … made his first career start in the Maryland contest … also earned starts against Maine and Dartmouth … scored eight points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked three shots in 25 minutes of action in a 65-47 win over Dartmouth … made four free throws (on four attempts) against the Big Green … deposited nine points in a 106-65 besting of Sacred Heart … played in 16 of the team’s 18 regular-season BIG EAST contests … grabbed six rebounds at St. John’s … tallied six points and three boards against Louisville in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship … scored four points and had two assists against Xavier in the second round of the NCAA Championship … also had two assists versus Sam Houston State, Maine and Sacred Heart.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010-11):
Played in 14 games … registered 20 points (1.4 ppg.) and 16 rebounds (1.1 rpg.) … had three assists and two blocked shots … made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Georgia Southern and was a perfect 3-3 from the field and 1-1 from the free-throw line en route to seven points in the Irish victory … also had four rebounds in his Irish debut … matched his season-high total with seven points in a win over UMBC … also hauled down a season-best five rebounds against UMBC … played a season-high nine minutes against both Georgia Southern and UMBC … played in six BIG EAST regular season games and one conference tournament contest … scored his first BIG EAST points in a win at DePaul … hauled in one rebound in the third-round NCAA Championship contest versus Florida State.
