DES MOINES, Iowa – Notre Dame senior pole vaulter Kevin Schipper closed out his brilliant Irish career on Thursday at the NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, with a 20th place finish. The Leo, Ind., vaulted 5.15m (16-10.75 ft).
Schipper concludes his storied career in the Irish blue and gold with six BIG EAST titles, seven all-BIG EAST scrolls and two All-America certificates, earning one each in indoor and outdoor.
On Saturday junior Rebecca Tracy closes out the Irish outdoor season as she competes in the finals of 1,500m run at approximately 11:28 a.m. (CT). Links to ESPN3 and live results are available on UND.com.
