NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Six members of the 2000 Notre Dame football squad have been invited to the National Football League’s Combine Timing and Testing sessions to be held Feb. 22-26 at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Ind.
Invited Irish players are:
- Inside linebacker Anthony Denman (second-team Associated Press All-American in 2000, Irish leader in tackles with 84 and tackles for loss with 14, 26 career starts).
- Free safety Tony Driver (second on team in 2000 with 65 tackles, returned two fumbles for TDs, 19 career starts, played tailback as freshman and junior).
- Offensive guard Mike Gandy (The Sporting News third-team All-American, 26 straight starts to finish his career).
- Tight end Jabari Holloway (41 career catches for 692 yards, seven TDs, 38 career starts).
- Tight end Dan O’Leary (32 career catches for 383 yards, four TDs, 16 career starts)
- Cornerback Brock Williams (49 tackles, one interception in 2000, 20 career starts).
