NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Notre Dame hockey team will return to its roots on the Howard Park ice for a fun filled Hockey Night in South Bend, from 7-8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4. Attendees can meet the team, skate with many of the players and get autographs.
In addition, free hot chocolate and 11×17 commemorative autograph posters will be available courtesy of Notre Dame athletics. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to get their skates, as the ice closes nightly at 8 pm.
Located in downtown South Bend, Howard Park was officially dedicated in 1899. Howard Park reopened on November 29, 2019, at the corner of Jefferson Blvd. and St. Louis Blvd. to a variety of vibrant, active spaces including: a brand-new state-of-the-art ice trail and pond; a 16,000 square-foot multi-generational playground designed for universal play and discover; interactive water feature and a LEED v4 certified multi-purpose building.
The Notre Dame hockey team will be in attendance sporting commemorative jerseys for the upcoming “Irish Wear Green” game on February 15, as the program raises awareness for the 525 Foundation. The jerseys feature a patch with the 525 Foundation logo and will be auctioned to benefit the foundation.

- $5 admission to skate on the ice trail and pond
- The Notre Dame hockey flagship radio station, Z94.3 FM will be on site from 6-8pm.
- Also from 5-7pm, WSBT 96.1 FM will broadcast the award-winning Weekday SportsBeat show live on location with hosts Darin Pritchett (the voice of ND Hockey) and Eric Hansen (ND Football Insider from the South Bend Tribune).
- Fans will have the chance to win prizes, including tickets to remaining Notre Dame hockey home games, team memorabilia and more.

- Prior to next week’s event at Howard Park, Notre Dame heads to State College, Pennsylvania this weekend to close out the regular-season series with the ninth-ranked Nittany Lions (Jan. 31 – Feb. 1).
- Puck drop for is slated for 6 p.m. ET for both games and game one will be televised by the Big Ten Network and game two will be on BTN+.
