Garrity’s 33 Not Enough for Irish

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Pat Garrity scored 33, but the Notre Dame Fighting Irish cameup a bucket short, dropping a Big East game to Boston College, 76-74.

Danya Abrams led the Golden Eagles with 25 and Duane Woodward added 19 as Boston College improved to 18-8, 12-6 in the Big East.

Notre Dame, which trailed by seven at the half, dropped to 14-12 and aBig East mark of 8-10. Admore White had eight rebounds and six assistsfor the Irish.

Up next for Notre Dame is the Big East Tournament, which begins next week.
