• Made five appearances in his freshman season.
• Totaled a career high three innings pitched in relief against Western Michigan (4/10).
• Also struck out a career-high four batters against the Broncos.
• Played summer ball with the Duluth Huskies in the Northwoods League.

PERSONAL

• Graduated from Oxbridge Academy in May 2018 and intends to major in business.
• Earned four varsity letters in baseball and one in football.
• Finished his four-year career with a 10-10 record, a 2.92 ERA (50 ER/119.2 IP) and 167 strikeouts, including going 3-3 with a 2.08 ERA (10 ER/33.2 IP) as a senior.
• Attended the same high school as fellow teammate Zach Mazur.
• Alexander Francis Rao is the son of Edward and Susan Rao. Has an older brother, Edward.
