Started all 34 games … served as a team captain … averaged 15.4 points and a career-high 6.1 rebounds per game … both of those figures ranked second on the team … posted 14.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in BIG EAST play … earned third-team all-BIG EAST honors … named the BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season … garnered the BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence award for the second straight year … named to the Capital One Academic All-America first team for the second consecutive season … selected as the Notre Dame Club of St. Joseph Valley Rockne Student-Athlete Award for the second year in a row … two-time BIG EAST weekly honor roll selection (Nov. 29 and Dec. 27) … tallied career-best numbers for assists (61), blocked shots (15) and steals (26) … shot 42.9% (78-182) from three-point range … reached double-figures in points in 29 of the team’s 34 games … scored 20-plus points 12 times, including one 30-plus point performance … notched two double-doubles … had 10 or more rebounds in three games … led the Irish in scoring nine times and in rebounding 11 times … registered first double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds versus Chicago State … also dished out a career-high seven assists against Chicago State … posted 25 points and six rebounds in a win over Georgia during the first round of the Old Spice Classic … played a career-high 46 minutes versus Georgia … hauled down 11 rebounds in a victory over California during the second round of the Old Spice Classic … was named the Old Spice Classic MVP as he helped lead the Irish to a 3-0 record and the tournament title … started a career-best 10-game double-figure scoring streak by tallying 21 points, in addition to hauling down eight rebounds, versus Gonzaga … registered 21 points and 11 boards versus UMBC … the 11 boards matched a career-high total … became the 51st player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau when he did so against on Feb. 26 versus Seton Hall … tallied a season-high 30 points in a 93-72 win over Villanova … made nine of Notre Dame’s school-record 20 three-pointers against Villanova … the nine threes (on 13 attempts) tied a Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center record … scored a team-high 21 points in a setback to Florida State in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
