AS A SENIOR: Appeared in seven total tournaments during senior season, competing in the Notre Dame starting lineup in each of those events … posted the second-best stroke average among all Irish players at 74.26 over 19 total rounds … closed the year with a .947 percentage (18-for-19) of rounds counting toward the Notre Dame team score … earned medalist honors for the first time, tying for first place at the Notre Dame Kickoff Challenge (Aug. 30) at six-under-par, 136 (67-69) … claimed a second top 25 finish at the Fighting Irish Golf Classic (Sept. 28-30), carding rounds of 72-75-76 (223, +10) … shared 27th place at the Rod Myers Invitational (Oct. 11-12), finishing at three-over-par (75-72=147) … tied for 48th place in only spring start at the Jones Invitational (Feb. 23-24), carding a score of 227 (72-77-78).

AS A JUNIOR: Enjoyed a career year, seeing action in nine tournaments during junior campaign, including six in the starting lineup … logged a 74.00 stroke average, the third-best average on the Notre Dame roster, and added four under par and five even par rounds during the season … opened the fall with a one-under-par 70 at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic (Sept. 23-24), ultimately finishing in a tie for 39th at the event at 224 (70-76-78) … recorded what was then his best career placement, a tie for 18th, at the Georgetown Intercollegiate (Oct. 21-22) (71-70-78-219) … tied for 50th place in first career start at the Invitational at the Ocean Course (Oct. 27-29), which included a second round 72 for his fourth effort of par or better during the fall … posted best collegiate finish during second spring start, tying for seventh after carding a final total of 220 (74-72-74) at the Talis Park Challenge (March 16-17) … followed in next tournament appearance with a matching effort of four-over-par 220 (72-72-76) at the Lone Star Invitational (March 24-25) … tied career-best finish in a tie for seventh place as an individual competitor at the Notre Dame Oak Hill Intercollegiate (April 21-22), posting 11-over-par 221 (73-74-74) … earned top Irish finish in the team’s first-ever appearance at the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship (April 25-27), recording a final round five-under 67 on his way to a share of ninth place (75-71-67-213, -3).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Finished the season with a stroke average of 76.00 over nine rounds … appeared in three tournaments during his sophomore season … notched a 229 (+16) mark and finished tied for 51st place at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic (Oct. 7-9) … carded a 222 (+12) at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational (Oct. 15-16), good enough to share 19th place … saw action in the spring season at the Irish Creek Collegiate (April 6-7) … shot a 233 (+20), finishing tied for 81st place.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed as an individual entrant at both home events on the season … finished with a stroke average of 78.20 over five rounds of golf … opened the year at the Fighting Irish Gridiron Golf Classic (Sept. 26-27), placing tied for 58th with a score of 231 (+21) … after carding matching scores of 78 (+8) in both the first and second rounds, finished with strongest round of the tournament (75, +5) in final round of tournament … concluded the year with a 30th-place finish at the one-day, 36-hole Battle at the Warren (April 22) … finished with a score of 160 (+18) after carding identical 80’s (+9) in both rounds of play.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-year member of the golf team while attending Milton High School … served as the team’s No. 1 golfer each of his first three years, while claiming the captain role in his sophomore through senior seasons … three-time team MVP as well as all-conference selection … named to the Georgia High School Golf Coaches Association (GHSGCA) all-state team in both junior and senior years … earned national ranking during his senior year … named the 97th-best player of the 2011 graduating class by Golfweek … named to AJGA Junior all-star team during freshman year … named Cincinnati Enquirer first team all-city all star in 2007, as well as being named a first-team Greater Cincinnati Golf Coaches Association selection … named the ’07 Miami Valley Conference Player of the Year and first-team selection as well as MVP … recorded nine top-25 finishes in AJGA competition, including three top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes with one victory – AJGA Medicus Jr. All-Star in Cleveland Ohio (1st of 73) … claimed the Georgia state high school championship during junior year after shooting four-under par to beat 120 other juniors … finished fifth overall at state during senior year, while helping team to a second-place finish … selected to 2010 AJGA HP Scholastic Junior All-American Honor Roll … named to Presidential Honor Roll senior year … four-year member of TAG, Milton High School’s Program for the Talented and Gifted … son of Thomas and Kelly Grahek … born in Alpharetta, Ga. … has two siblings, Abby and Eric … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business, majoring in finance.
