- Two-time team captain and team MVP at Chagrin Fall High School.
- Finished high school career with 172 goals and 109 assists.
- Selected as 2018 News-Herald Player of the Year and Adam S. Hamilton NOSLCA Player of the Year.
- Played club lacrosse with Burning River Lacrosse.
- Four-time Honor Roll student and two-time High Honor Roll student.
- Member of Student Athlete Advisory Council.
- Son of Mark and Shelley McGinley. Father, Mark, played football at UMass Amherst.
- Has one brother (Hayes), who plays lacrosse at Saint Joseph’s and one sister (Megan), who plays volleyball at Clemson.
