Earned two all-BIG East honors as she placed in the top three in both the 200 backstroke and 100 butterfly … took home third place in the 200 backstroke with her time of 2:01.29 … swam a career best time in the time trails of the 200 backstroke at the BIG EAST Championship (2:00.80), which was also the team’s best time in the event last season … also an all-BIG EAST performer in the 100 butterfly with a time of 55.44, which is just out of the career top-10 at Notre Dame … set several season bests at the Minnesota Invite as she swam a 28.15 in the 50 backstroke and 57.93 in the 100 backstroke … her 200 individual medley time of 2:04.08 was the third best time by an individual swimmer in that event last season … in the 1,000 free, set a personal best with a time of 10:17.45, which was the third best individual time in the event in `06 AS A SOPHOMORE
One of the team’s top performers during the 2004-05 season … ranked first on the team in the 200 backstroke (2:02.14) and second in the 400 individual medley (4:23.64) … one of the most versatile swimmers on the team, as she qualified for seven different events at the BIG EAST Championship … finished in the top five of all three events in which she competed at the BIG EAST meet … placed fourth in both the 200 IM (2:05.45) and 200 backstroke (2:02.14) … also placed fifth in the 400 IM (4:24.83) … scored 44 points toward the team’s championship-winning total at the BIG EAST meet … claimed four individual victories during the dual meet season (one in the 100 back, two in the 200 back, one in the 400 IM) … was also part of two victorious relays during the dual meet season … a key member to the record setting (7:32.87) 800 freestyle relay team from the Dennis Stark Relays. Registered three NCAA ‘B’ cuts – 1:50.41 in 200 free, 2:01.72 in 200 back, and 2:03.70 in 200 IM – and was one of Notre Dame’s most versatile and successful swimmers … anchored 800 free relay that broke Irish record in finishing second at BIG EAST Championships (7:20.12) … that was an NCAA ‘B’ cut and ranked 27th in Division I … ranked second on team in 200 free, third in 200 back and 200 IM, and fifth in 200 fly (2:04.98) … moved up considerably from seeding in freestyle and IM (seeded 17th in both) … posted three top-10 finishes in BIG EAST meet, ending fifth in 200 IM, seventh in 200 back, and ninth in 200 free en route to scoring 43.5 points … swam on 800 free relay that set Irish meters record against Illinois (8:20.92) … finished first in 200 back in Notre Dame Invitational … helped set meet record in 500 crescendo freestyle relay in Dennis Stark Relays (4:34.10) … qualified for BIG EAST Championships in seven events … other season bests included 4:27.31 in 400 IM, 57.97 in 100 fly, 58.45 in 100 back, and 2:04.98 in 200 fly.
