Recovered from an early-season injury to post an All-America encore to an outstanding freshman season … named team Most Valuable Player … Notre Dame’s top swimmer who was able to post 10 victories in her limited dual meet season … after competing in the Dennis Stark Relays, she did not compete again until after the holiday training trip to Saint Lucia … Notre Dame’s leader at the BIG EAST Championship, claiming two individual titles (both IMs) and four relay victories … finished first in the 200 IM at the BIG EAST meet in 2:01.35 and followed up with a 4:15.55 winning time in the 400 IM … that 400 IM time earned her an automatic berth in the NCAA Championship … ruled in the relays during 2004-05, helping the Irish claim BIG EAST titles in the 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay and 800 freestyle relay … also earned all-BIG EAST honors in the 200 butterfly (third) and 200 medley relay (third) … the 800 free relay time of 7:16.95 set the school record and was ranked 16th in the NCAA … showed up at the NCAA meet, posting her season-best times in the 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM … finished sixth in the 400 IM at the NCAA meet, becoming an All-American for the first time in 4:13.56 … ended up 14th in the 200 IM with a 2:00.75 effort to earn honorable mention All-America accolades … also competed in the 200 butterfly at the NCAA meet, touching the wall in 2:00.48 to finish 21st.
