JUNIOR SEASON (2018-19)
• Selected No. 1 overall in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces, becoming the second Irish player ever to be taken first overall.
• Became the first Irish player to record two triple-doubles in the same season. Joined Skylar Diggins for the most in a career with two. Young was 1-of-7 Division I players to achieve multiple triple-doubles.
• Recorded the 7th triple-double in Irish history at Tennessee (1/24), logging 16 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Then earned the 8th vs Virginia (3/3) when she accomplished 22 points, 10 rebounds & 11 assists.
• Achieved 12 double-doubles, which broke the program record for a guard. Her 17 career double-doubles tied Lindsay Schrader for the most by a guard. Young and Virginia’s Jocelyn Willoughby (10) were the only two guards in the ACC with double-digit double-doubles.
• Tallied five double-doubles over the last 10 games.
•1-of-4 players in the country to average over 14 points, 7 rebounds, & 5 assists. Joining Young on the list was Sabrina Ionescu, Shakyla Hill and Chastadie Barrs. Young was the only one to shoot over 50 percent as well.
• NCAA Tournament: Averaged 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds & 4.0 assists. Shot 41.3 percent and 21-of-25 from the free-throw line.
• Named the ACC Tournament MVP after averaging 19.3 points, 10.0 rebounds & 6.0 assists.
• Shot a proficient 52.7 percent on the year, which ranked 3rd nationally among guards.
• Big-Game Jackie– Last year, Young’s scoring average against ranked teams was higher than her season average. This year, Young averaged 15.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in ranked matchups.
• Flirted with a triple-double when Young earned a career high 12 assists to go with 10 points & 8 boards at No. 17 Syracuse (2/25). Flirted twice more: ACC Quarterfinal vs UNC (3/8) with 19 points, 7 boards & 9 assists & 2nd Round vs MSU (3/25) with 21 points, 11 rebounds & 7 assists.
• Last 11 games – 65 assists with only 20 turnovers. Young’s 2.63 assist-to-turnover ratio led the league, ranked 19th in the nation and third in program history.
• With 16 points against Pitt on Jan. 3, Young became the 40th member of the program’s 1,000-point club.
• Led the team in assists, averaging 5.1/game, which ranked 2nd in the ACC & 44th in the country.
• Named to the Vancouver Showcase All-Tournament Team and the espnW Player of the Week after averaging 20.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists, all while guiding the Irish to wins over Gonzaga, Drake and No. 9 Oregon State.
• Converted a career best three treys twice this season: Oregon State (11/24) & Virginia (3/3).
• Led the Irish in scoring at No. 15 DePaul with 28 points, including a career best 11-of-12 from the free-throw line.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2017-18)
• Started all 38 games. Averaged 14.5 ppg, which ranked third on the team and 15th in the ACC. Also recorded 10 games of 20-plus points and five double-doubles, as the latter tied for the fourth most by a guard in ND history. Her 551 points were the fifth most by a sophomore at Notre Dame.
• Naismith Trophy Watch List // All-ACC Honorable Mention // ACC Player of the Week (11/27) // Gulf Coast Showcase MVP.
• During NCAA Tournament: Averaged 16.3 points on 47.9 percent shooting. Also averaged 8.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Averaged the second most points at the Final Four with 19.0 ppg.
• Hit the game-tying jumper with 45 seconds remaining in the national championship vs Mississippi State, knotting the score up at 58-all. Also secured the steal with three seconds left that set-up Arike’s game-winning shot.
• Young’s 32 points vs UConn in the National Semifinal not only marked a career high, but also tied for the 7th most points in an NCAA Final Four game. It also tied for the fourth most by an Irish player in an NCAA Tournament game. Young tied her career high made field goals (10) and set a new career best in free-throws, going 10-for-11 from the stripe. Also secured her fifth double-double after reeling in 11 rebounds.
• Shot 92.3 percent from the free-throw line (12-13) during Final Four – ranked as 4th best // Skylar holds No. 3 spot at 93.3 percent.
• Big-Game Jackie — Irish played 16 ranked opponents and in those games Young averaged 16.6 points and 6.8 rebounds, both up from her season average. Ranks second on the team in scoring and rebounding in ranked games.
• Most Improved Irish: Produced 28 double-digit scoring games this season, more than doubling her freshman total of 11. In addition, her 14.5 ppg has doubled her scoring average from last year (7.3 ppg).
• Dished out a career high of eight assists at FSU on Jan. 28, then repeated the feat at Virginia on Feb. 15. Young averaged 4.7 assists per game in ACC play which ranked fifth. Averaged 3.7 assists overall, which ranked 11th in ACC and 2nd on team.
• Achieved a career-high eight straight games in double figures from Feb. 4 to March 3.
• Tied her career high in made field goals (10-of-13) finishing with 22 points vs Georgia Tech (2/11). Also secured a season high five steals and dished out seven assists.
• Led the team in points, rebounds, assists for the first time of her career at Boston College on Feb. 18, collecting 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Repeated the feat vs No. 21 NC State on Feb. 25 with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists.
• Was named the Gulf Coast Showcase MVP after averaging 19.3 ppg (team high) on 50.0 percent shooting, along with 7.7 rebounds per game. Tallied back-to-back 20+ point performances for the first time of her career after knocking down 23 points vs USF and then 22 points vs No. 3/2 South Carolina. Young also reeled in 10 rebounds vs the Gamecocks, collecting her first career double-double.
• Only player in the ACC to rank in the top-15 in eight different statistical categories.
• Young was the main catalyst for Notre Dame’s 72-67 road victory at No. 18/17 Oregon State, finishing with a then career high 21 points after  exploding with 17 points in the second half.
• At 6’0, Young has been dynamic on the offensive glass, as her 2.8 offensive rebounds per game ranks 11th in the league & 2nd on team. Young set a career high of seven offensive rebounds at Michigan on Nov. 29.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2016-17)
• Scored three points and recorded seven rebounds in her college debut against Green Bay on Nov. 17
• Recorded her best game vs Valparaiso on Dec. 4 with a career high 20 points with six steals and five rebounds. She became the first Irish player to score 20 points off the bench since Arike Ogunbowale had 21 at TCU on Dec. 12, 2016
• Was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Dec. 5, following her break-through game versus Valparaiso – She also tallied five points and three rebounds in the team’s win at Iowa on Nov. 30
• Was named ACC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 13, following her performances versus Louisville and Georgia Tech. Young scored 16 points while collecting seven rebounds in the team’s 85-66 win over the Cardinals. She then set a career high of five assists without committing a turnover in Notre Dame’s 90-66 win over Georgia Tech.
• Set career highs in rebounds in back-to-back contests starting with nine rebounds at Clemson on Feb. 16, then later surpassed that amount with 12 rebounds in 24 minutes of action at Syracuse on Feb. 19
• Scored 16 points in a career-high 38 minutes in the team’s overtime win against Purdue on March 19

HIGH SCHOOL
• Graduated from Princeton Community High School in 2016
• In four years at PCHS, the Tigers posted a 97-9 (.915) record with Young
• Finished as the leading scorer (girls’ or boys’ basketball) in Indiana high school history with 3,268 points
• Overall, Young averaged 30.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game, while shooting .583 from the field, .382 from beyond the arc and .858 from the free-throw line.
• Led Princeton to 53 consecutive wins and the 2015 Indiana Class 3A state championship – Scored 36 points in state title game, setting the record for most points in a Class 3A final, as well as the most points by one player in any Indiana girls’ basketball state title game since 1980
• Led her team to a 27-1 record in her senior season, ranking third in the state and ninth in the nation in scoring with 34.9 ppg. Also achieved 9.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.8 steals
• Shot .605 as a senior with a .429 mark from three-point range and an .861 free-throw percentage. All told, she compiled 20 30-point games, 10 40-point games and a seaosn high 53 points on Nov. 20 vs. Gibson Southern
• Set the Indiana high school girls’ basketball single season scoring record as a junior, recording 1,003 points – Also just the fifth player of either gender in state history to score 1,000 points in a season.
• Was ranked in the top-10 by nearly all major national recruiting services, including a No. 5 rank by Prospects Nation
