Sophomore midfield/defender who joined the Notre Dame roster as a walk-on after a strong fall (2008) campaign … impressed the coaching staff with her work ethic and ability to play in the team[apos]s fall workouts … suffered a knee injury during the fall that required surgery and caused her to miss the 2009 spring schedule while rehabilitating the injury … trained hard in the offseason to regain her pre-injury form … hard-working player who continues to develop her game … member of a class of nine student-athletes to join the Irish for the 2008-09 school year … one of two Western Pennsylvania natives (Peters Township) on the roster, joining junior Meredith LoCasto (Mt.
