AS A SOPHOMORE: Returned from a knee injury that sidelined her during 2010 to play in six games during sophomore campaign, mostly in a reserve role β¦ had a pair of ground balls in a 17-6 victory over Cincinnati β¦ was named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star β¦ earned a Monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN: Missed the entire season due to a knee injury suffered during the preseason.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Three-sport standout athlete at The Blake School in Minneapolis, Minn. β¦ played soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse during her high school career, earning 11 letters β¦ played defense in soccer and helped The Blake School to three Tri-Metro conference championships and a state runner-up finish in 2008 β¦ served as team captain as a senior and was a two-time all-Tri-Metro conference (2007, 2008) β¦ in hockey, earned three letters while playing defense β¦ helped team to three conference titles (2007, 2008, 2009) and Minnesota state titles in 2007 and 2009) β¦ moved to attack with the lacrosse team and finished career as The Blake School[apos]s all-time scoring leader with 193 goals and 129 assists for 322 career points β¦ led team to `08 state championship and was a member of state runner-up teams in `07 and `09 β¦ served as team captain in 2009 β¦ three-time all-state selection (2007-09) β¦ selected Minneapolis Star-Tribune athlete of the week (May 12, 2009) in lacrosse β¦ was the Star-Tribune player to watch in the spring of `08 and `09 β¦ first women[apos]s lacrosse player from Minnesota to commit to a top 20 Division I school β¦ full name is Michelle Elizabeth Tremblay β¦ daughter of Don and Irene Tremblay β¦ has one brother β¦ father played baseball and basketball at Seton Hall β¦ born March 12, 1991 in Minneapolis, Minn. β¦ mechanical engineering major in the College of Engineering at Notre Dame.
