HIGH SCHOOL:
- Earned three letters in rowing and two in cross country at Georgetown Visitation High School.
- Served as the rowing team captain in 2014, 2016 and 2017 while earning the team coaches award (2015) and team most valuable player award (2014).
PERSONAL:
- Daughter of Tom and Katie McGovern, with sister Lauren.
- Father, Tom, rowed at the Naval Academy, graduating in 1986.
- Enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
