Bio

Martin Vergara began a four-year term on the Monogram Club board in 2022. Vergara was a pitcher with the Notre Dame baseball team from 2002-06. As a freshman, he helped the Fighting Irish advance to the College World Series for just the second time in program history. During his career, Notre Dame made five NCAA Tournament appearances, won five Big East Tournament titles and captured three regular-season Big East championships. Following his high school career, he was selected by Cleveland in the Major League Baseball Draft, but opted to attend Notre Dame. Vergara graduated from the Mendoza College of Business in 2006 with a degree in finance. He earned an MBA from Columbia University in 2013.

Vergara works at Morgan Stanley where he is the Global Head of Talent Acquisition. He lives in Patterson, New Jersey with his wife, Deniz, and their two children.
