Monogram Club Director (2023-27)

Regis McDermott began a four-year term on the Monogram Club board in 2023. McDermott was a four-time Monogram winner with the Notre Dame men’s lacrosse team. As a defenseman, he played in 61 career games, including 32 starts. McDermott helped the Fighting Irish to four NCAA tournament appearances, three Great Western Lacrosse League (GWLL) regular-season championships and two GWLL tournament titles.
As a senior, McDermott served as a team captain and received third-team All-America honors and all-conference accolades. He also was part of the program tradition of playing the bagpipes as the team entered the field prior to each game. McDermott was selected by the Long Island Lizards in the 2009 Major League Lacrosse Draft.
McDermott graduated from Notre Dame’s College of Arts and Letters in 2009 with a degree in political science. He currently is Executive Underwriter – Programs at Hudson Insurance Group. He lives in Babylon, New York, with his wife, Paige, and their daughter.
