ATHENS, Ga. — The 19th-ranked Notre Dame doubles team of juniors Javier Taborga and Aaron Talarico lost their first-round match at the NCAA doubles championship in Athens, Ga. Stanford’s 14th-ranked team of Scott Lipsky and David Martin advanced to the second round with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Taborga and Talarico, who were making their second consecutive NCAA doubles appearance.
