During a men’s lacrosse promotion during intermission of the Notre Dame hockey game against Vermont, Perkovic competed in a center ice shooting contest on behalf of a young Irish fan named Henry Gillen of South Bend, who’s father Pete is a Notre Dame lacrosse alum.
The senior midfielder known for having one of the best shots in college lacrosse put on an impressive display with the hockey stick, making not one but two shots to win Gillen $750 worth of airfare, sending the Compton crowd into a frenzy.
