Women's Lacrosse Game on Saturday Moved to 8:00 p.m.

Feb. 18, 2014

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – This Saturday’s women’s lacrosse game between No. 15/15 Notre Dame and No. 12/14 Stony Brook has been moved to the Loftus Sports Center at 8:00 p.m.

The change in venues was necessitated by poor winter weather and field conditions at the team’s outdoor home, Arlotta Stadium, while the change in time was necessitated due to the track and field teams’ Alex Wilson Invitational scheduled during the day in Loftus.

The Fighting Irish stand at 1-1 on the young season, setting multiple offensive records in a 25-1 win over Cincinnati on Feb. 12 to open the season but falling, 15-10, to then-No. 17 Boston College on Feb. 15. The Seawolves are 1-0 on the year having downed Bucknell, 18-1, in their opener last week. Stony Brook will also play host to Monmouth on Wednesday before its trip to South Bend. This will be the first-ever meeting between the Irish and their guests from Long Island.

Tickets are available at the gate on Saturday night for just $5 for adults and $3 for youth and seniors. For season ticket packages, which also include admission to men’s lacrosse home games in addition to women’s games, logon to UND.com/tickets or call (574) 631-7356.
