NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Senior defender Hannah Proctor has been named a Preseason Honorable Mention All-American by Inside Lacrosse ahead of the 2019 campaign.
In 2018, Proctor started all 19 games on the back line for the Irish en route to earning Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association All West/Midwest Region Second Team honors. She was third among Irish defenders in ground balls (28) and caused turnovers (16). Proctor helped the Notre Dame defense limit opponents to less than 10 goals eight times last season, with the Irish holding a 7-1 record in those contests.
The Radnor, Pennsylvania, native was also named a Second Team All-ACC All-Star.
Inside Lacrosse also tabbed the Irish No. 22 in its 2019 preseason rankings.
