Irish Quartet Selected for NCAA Indoor Championships

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Four members of the Notre Dame women’s track and field team have earned spots in the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, which take place March 14-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Jadin O’Brien and Alaina Brady will represent the Irish in the pentathlon. Madison Schmidt is set to compete in the high jump, and Siona Chisholm will run in the 5000m race.

O’Brien has the second-best pentathlon score of the 2025 season going into the NCAA Championships after posting a 4580 at the ACC Championships. Brady’s mark of 4235 from the Kansas State DeLoss Dodds Invitational was the eighth-highest pentathlon score of the regular season.

Schmidt enters the NCAA Championships after sharing the 13th-best mark in the high jump with a 1.86m.

Chisholm had the 13th-fastest 5000m among indoor competitors during the regular season with a 15:23.37.
