Note For Coaches and Student-Athletes: SECTIONS IN 800m and MILE WILL BE CREATED ON SATURDAY MORNING. Due to the large number of DMR teams, and runners on those teams entered in Saturday races, we will wait until following the relays to seed those races. COACHES ARE ASKED TO DECLARE or SCRATCH their runners in the 800m and Mile on Friday night following the relays so that we can accurately and fairly seed those races.

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame track and field program welcomes some of the nation’s best this weekend as it plays host to the Alex Wilson Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Loftus Sports Center.
The meet is one of several last chance meets that will take place around the country this weekend, which offer student-athletes one final opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships that are scheduled for March 9-10 in Nampa, Idaho.
The meet gets underway on Friday at 6 p.m. with the women’s 20 lb. weight toss, the men’s long jump and the men’s pole vault. The two races of the distance medley relay, which will feature NCAA Championship-quality fields, are slated to get underway at 7:45 p.m. with the women’s race.
Saturday’s action begins at 11 a.m. men’s triple jump, the women’s shot put and the women’s 60m hurdle trials.
Fans interested in attending the two-day meet can enter the facility without a ticket. Due to the high volume of sporting events on campus this weekend, attendees are encouraged to arrive early and find parking in the lots around the Joyce Center.
For fans that can’t make it to Loftus this weekend, live results will be available online as will live video feed on Friday courtesy of FloTrack.
