AS A JUNIOR: Led Irish pole vaulters throughout the season … nearly matched his career best at the Windsor Team Challenge, posting a mark of 4.70m (15-5) … saw improvement in the outdoor season, culminating in a career-best vault of 4.80m (15-9) at the BIG EAST Championship … took sixth overall in a competitive field at the meet, contributing points towards the team title.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Teamed with Justin Oppel to give the Irish two strong performers in the pole vault … set a career best early in the indoor season with a 4.71m (15-5 ½) vault at the Central Michigan Opener … qualified for the BIG EAST Indoor Championship and finished fifth with a vault of 4.50m (14-9) … tied a career best in the outdoor season with a 4.75m (15-7) vault at the Mike Poehlein Invitational … finished fourth in the pole vault at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship with a vault of 4.50m (14-9) … scored points in both BIG EAST league meets during the 2005 season.

AS A FRESHMAN: Worked on his development in the pole vault during his rookie season in 2004 … posted a season-best 4.65m (15-3) clearance during the indoor campaign at the Notre Dame Opener … best effort of the outdoor season (4.60m, 15-1) placed him fourth at the Purdue Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Two-sport standout at Rolling Meadows High School in Rolling Meadows, Ill. … four-year letterwinner in both track & field and soccer … an outstanding pole vaulter who was nationally ranked (eighth) with a season-best 4.905m (16-1) effort in 2003 … set the school indoor (4.80m, 15-9) and outdoor (4.905m, 16-1) records during his prep career … was undefeated in the individual pole vault during his senior season … only loss came in the state finals, where he finished second … placed fourth in the pole vault at the Junior Olympics in 2003 … also was a goalkeeper for the soccer team … second oldest of four children … born March 5, 1985, in Mt. Prospect, Ill. … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as an accounting major.
