Nick Dunn 2013-14 Track and Field Roster

AS A JUNIOR:Competed in four meets during the indoor/outdoor track & field season … earned a 29th place finish in the 200m dash (22.48) and a 29th place finish in the preliminaries of the 60m dash (7.13) at the Meyo Invitational … began the season with an eighth place finish in 200m dash (22.79) at the Blue and Gold Invitational … capped the season with a sixth place finish in the finals of the 60m dash (7.09) and a fifth place finish in the 200m dash (22.33) at the Alex Wilson Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Finished third in the 200m and 60m at the Blue & Gold Invitational with times of 22.78 and 7.20, respectively … competed at the GVSU Bob Eubanks Open in the 200m and 60m … Ran the 60m dash at the Notre Dame Invitational and the Alex Wilson Invitational … named to the Dean[apos]s List during both semesters.

AS A FRESHMAN: Finished sixth in the 200 at the Notre Dame Invitational … logged a time of 22.89 to take fourth place at the Alex Wilson Invitational … member of the outdoor 4x100m relay that finished third at the Texas Roadhouse Border Battle … fourth-place finish in the 100 at the Border Battle … named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star … named to the Dean[apos]s List during both semesters.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Nicholas James Dunn graduated from Brother Rice High School in the spring of 2011 … lettered four times in track as a sprinter, twice as a wide receiver in football and once as a guard on the basketball team … won the 200m dash at the Catholic League Championships … best times are 10.9 in the 100m and 22.3 in the 200m … earned all-conference accolades on the track all four years … helped football team to a pair of conference championships as a junior and senior and a region title as a junior … basketball squad won a sectional title as a senior … was named first team Academic all-state … also earned the Catholic League Scholar Athlete and American Rivalry Series Student-Athlete awards … was a member of the National Honor Society and St. Michael[apos]s Youth Group … participated in Habitat for Humanity … born in Southfield, Mich., to James and Mary Dunn … has two younger sisters, Alli and Mariel … has a cousin, Jon Brevis, who graduated from Notre Dame … mom, Mary, played basketball at UM-Dearborn … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business and is majoring in finance.
