Rachel Rhodes 2016-17 Track and Field Roster

AWARDS/ACCOLADES:

• 2015 Second Team All-ACC (pentathlon)
• 2015 All-ACC Academic Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field teams
• 2015 USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team

AS A JUNIOR:

• Recorded a season best height of 1.54m in the high jump at the Alex Wilson Invite (indoor).
• Marked a season best jump of 5.32m in the long jump at the Louisville Invite. 

AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Did not compete during the indoor and outdoor track seasons.

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Kicked off the indoor season at the Blue & Gold Invitational where she placed first in the high jump (1.68m). 
• Snagged a first place finish in high jump (1.66m) at the Alex Wilson Invitational.
• Had a second-place showing in the 800m at the ACC Indoor Championships (2:16.72). 
• Came in first place in the 800m at the ACC Outdoor Championships (2:15.98). 

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Graduated in the spring of 2014 from Williamsville High School (Williamsville, Illinois).
• Was the conference and county champion in the 200M dash, 400M dash, high jump and 4×400 relay as a senior.
• Earned runner-up conference athlete of the year honors.
• Was the runner up in the high jump at the Illinois high school state championships as a sophomore. 
• Also lettered in volleyball. 
• Born in Springfield, Illinois, to Mark Rhodes and Sandra Bova. 
• Has two stepbrothers, a stepsister and two sisters. 
• Enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business.
