Colin McGettigan 2026-27 Men's Basketball Staff

Coach Shrewsberry welcomed the addition of Colin McGettigan as the new Director of Basketball Operations, joining the program on June 17. He arrived in South Bend after spending the last two years as the Milwaukee Bucks Basketball Operations Intern. 

“What stood out most throughout the hiring process was how highly regarded he is by everyone who has worked with him. Colin is organized, detail-oriented, and has a personality that allows him to build strong relationships throughout a program,” Shrewsberry stated. “As we continue building our staff, it was important to find someone who could enhance both our daily operations and our culture. Colin’s experience, professionalism, and approach to the job make him a great fit.”

McGettigan’s path to Notre Dame also includes a two-year stint as the Director of Basketball Operations at Montana State, three years as a graduate assistant video coordinator at Colorado State, plus an additional four years prior as a student manager. He also has USA Basketball experience, having spent four summers with the organization.
