Athletic, determined, reserved, confident, sarcastic

2. Describe your perfect day – who would you spend it with, what would you do, where would you be?
Any day spent on Lake Michigan with some friends would be a day well spent.

3. What is your pre-game routine?
I always like to keep to myself; I always make a point to listen to a Bone Thugs album before I race, that’s a sure thing that I’ll do.

4. Other than the Irish, what is your favorite sports team?
This is kind of ironic but University of Michigan.

5. What do you miss the most about being at home?
My dogs

6. Who was the most famous person you have ever met?
I met and talked to (Olympic swimming champion) Michael Phelps.

7. If your life was to be turned into a movie, what genre would it be; what would the title be; what actor would you have star in it?
If I could be in any situation, I’d have to choose “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and I’d like to be the main character (Indiana Jones) in that movie.

8. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I’ve always wanted to travel to New Zealand.

9. What was the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
Once it was raining really hard and I was running to get into my house. I had forgotten the main door was open, but the glass door was still there. I ran into the glass door and almost broke my nose.

10. What is the best advice you have received? Who was it from?
My dad always tells me “never complain, never explain.” Basically, no excuses.

11. What are you listening to on your iPod right now?
I’ve been listening to a lot of Jurassic Five, an underground hip hop band.

12. If you had the choice to travel either forward or backward in time, which would you choose? Why?
I’m very content living in the present, so I would choose neither.

13. Where is your favorite place at Notre Dame?
God Quad

14. What is your major? Why did you choose this major?
Undecided for now, but thinking about business to keep my options open.

15. What is the first thing you think about when you wake up?
Probably the homework I should have done the night before.

16. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, a sister who is 16 and a junior in high school.

17. What is your favorite class or professor so far at Notre Dame, and why?
My favorite class is theology with Professor Moringiello. It’s a class I really look forward to going to. It’s interesting.

18. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your life, what would you eat?
A good, quality steak.

19. Who was your role-model as a child? Why? Has your role model changed now that you are older?
My role model for the past few years has been my high school coach, Greg Meyer. He was the last American man to win the Boston Marathon. He’s my role model of what I strive to be.

20. How has being a student and athlete at Notre Dame influenced your life?
I’ve only been here about six or seven weeks, so I haven’t changed much since then.
