SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish hosted their final indoor meet of the season as they competed in the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 17.
The distance medley relay proved to be just as exciting as everyone anticipated as the women’s team of Gretchen Farley, Jordyn Borsch, Claire Sievern, and Olivia Markezich ran one of the fastest times in NCAA history. The team set a new ACC record in the DMR with a time of 10:44.62 and their time ranks third best in NCAA history. Olivia Markezich ran the final leg with an astounding split of 4:22.
The Irish head to Boston, Mass. next to compete in the ACC Championships Feb. 22-24.
